Once again, Israeli & Palestinian medics arrive at the scene of an accident where they work together with only one thing on their minds, to save lives.

Yesterday, a young Palestinian man was struck by a car while riding his donkey in the village of Huwwara, near Nablus. To save his life, IDF paramedics and Magen David Adom – an Israeli civilian volunteer organization – joined together with the Palestinian police and the Red Crescent.

After 3 years of studies, joint Jordanian & Israeli emergency medical program at the Ben Gurion University, graduates their first class of paramedics, in the hope it will increase Israel-Arab cooperation in natural disasters or other regional emergencies.

Ben Gurion University of the Negev (BGU) graduated its first class of Jordanian and Israeli students who completed a special joint-emergency medicine BA program earlier this year. The first graduating class at the Israel-Jordan Academic Emergency Medicine Collaboration included 54 graduates who spent three years studying emergency medicine and medical response.

Israel’s Air Force can start preparing the runways after the vice president of Lockheed Martin, Steve O’Bryan, announced on Tuesday at the Paris Air Show that Israel will be the first country to receive the F-35 American-made stealth fighter jet.

The state-of-the-art fighter aircraft, the first of which are scheduled to be delivered to Israel at the end of 2016, are also expected to be fitted with an Israeli “twist.”

JERUSALEM — Pet Shop Boys singer Neil Tennant defended his band’s decision to play Israel amid pressure to cancel the June 23 concert.

A statement by Tennant was posted on the British duo’s official website Sunday following the release of a poster showing them wearing sunglasses stamped with the captions “1 child killed every three days” and “2 kids caged every day.”

The poster was created by the Britain-based pro-Palestinian group Innovative Minds.

Tennant wrote, “I don’t agree with this comparison of Israel to apartheid-era South Africa.

According to Uwe Neumaerker, director of the memorial, Michelle Obama and her daughters spent about half-an-hour Wednesday morning visiting the sea of 2711 steles that make up the memorial, which was designed by American-Jewish architect Peter Eisenman and opened to the public in May 2005, on the 60th anniversary of the end of World War II.

A rocket fired by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza early Wednesday morning landed in Palestinian territory. A siren was heard in Ashkelon and the surrounding area at around 5:40 am.
