Canadian delegation of 100 strong on visit to Israel

 

Ontario Premier Kathleen Wynne, ushering a group of over 100 Canadian politicians & business leaders, arrive in Israel to further expand on Canada-Israel cooperation.

The Premier of the Canadian province of Ontario, Kathleen Wynne, arrived in Israel at the head of a delegation of over 100 Canadian politicians and business leaders on Sunday.

Included in the delegation is Ontario Minister of Health and Long-Term Care Hon. Dr. Eric Hoskins, and Ontario Minister of and Development Reza Moridi, amongst others.

Israel & Ontario celebrate decade of successful bilateral R&D projects

Canadian province invests another $6 million in joint projects with Israel that focuses on clean technologies and medical devices.

A decade-long research and development partnership between Israel and Ontario has received by a six million-dollar investment in joint Israeli-Canadian R&D projects from the Canadian province.

Ontario’s Minister of Research and Innovation Reza Moridi visited Israel last week to announce the investment.

The partnership program, according to a memorandum of understanding signed 10 years ago, will continue to support projects with a strong economic focus, in the fields of medical devices, information and communication technologies, clean technologies and life sciences. Continue Reading »
