Court of Appeal of Versailles: Verdict – Israel is legal occupant of the West Bank

The historical verdict carefully ignored (forgotten?) by mainstream media, France’s 3rd Chamber of the Court of Appeal of Versailles decreed that Israel is the legal occupant of the West Bank.

Israel is the legal occupant of the West Bank, says the Court of Appeal of Versailles, France.  By JEAN-PATRICK GRUMBERG

When I first learned that the Court of Appeal of Versailles ruled that West bank settlements and occupation of Judea Samaria by Israel is unequivocally legal under international law, in a suit brought by the Palestinian Authority against Jerusalem’s light rail built by French companies Alstom and Veolia, that received no media coverage, I decided to put to work my years of Law Studies in France, and I meticulously analyzed the Court ruling. During the conversation, the man claimed he was carrying an explosive device in his bag. Security guards then detained the man, who was handed over to Jerusalem police for interrogation. Continue Reading »

By Ryan Jones

Next week a group of 150 Jewish high school students will ride Jerusalem’s light rail while conversing only in Arabic. It is a noble initiative that has been poorly presented by some organizers and journalists giving the impression of overbearing racism in the Jewish state.

Apartheid? A lesson on the facts of Jerusalem’s Light Rail

Op-ed: David Ha’ivri educates UK parliamentarians who echo the propagandists claim that Israel’s capital promotes apartheid

By David Ha’ivri

During my recent visit to the British Parliament, I heard concern from a number of members that Jerusalem’s new light rail system was built as a “tool of Israel‘s apartheid.” This type of claim can leave one baffled – where do you start explaining, when an intelligent elected official hits you with a claim that is so totally off base? Aside from the issue of priorities, since people are being killed by Assad daily in Syria, it is so hypocritical for world leaders to ignore that massacre and waste their time and effort in seeking out something to pin on Israel.
