Israeli Arabs vow to fight the Nakba of being turned into ‘Palestinians’

Ten Israeli Arab communities, which largely self-identify as Palestinian and were originally designated to fall under Jordanian control during the negotiations of the Armistice Line of 1949, now absolutely refuse to be part of a future State of Palestine.

Palestinians trying to sue Britain over Balfour Declaration

 

Nearly a century after the Balfour Declaration expressed British support for the Jewish State in Palestine, Palestinian leaders are petitioning the Arab League for assistance in bringing criminal charges against the UK for being the facilitator of the ‘Palestinian Catastrophe.’

Palestinian Authority Chairman Mahmoud Abbas called for Britain to be prosecuted for the 1917 Balfour Declaration. The statements were made during an Arab League meeting in the Mauritanian capital of Nouakchott on Sunday.

He also called on Arab League members to assist him in pursuing this legal action.

According to Abbas, the Balfour Declaration – which stated Britain’s support for a Jewish homeland in what was then Palestine – was a direct cause for the “Palestinian Nakba.” Continue Reading »

Hamas swears to ‘never forgive’ the British for empowering Israel’s existence

 

Terror group’s spokesman reminds the world once again why Palestinians will never make peace with Israel, in his vow to ‘never forget’ that the UK facilitated the existence of a Jewish State.

Hamas will “never forgive” the United Kingdom for enabling Israel’s existence, a spokesperson for the terror group said Saturday.

“Britain conquered the land of Palestine and was the first to support the ‘Nakba’,” Yasser Ali, Hamas’s “Palestinian refugees” official, stated to Palestine magazine. ‘Nakba’ is the Arabic term for ‘Catastrophe,’ i.e. Israeli Independence in 1948.

“[Britain] helped establish the entity of Israel on the ruins of the historic land of Palestine, which resulted in expulsion of the Palestinians after they are slaughtered and killed dozens of massacres.” Continue Reading »

Israeli Deputy Ambassador to Norway George Deek is a Christian Arab has called on disbanding the notion of the Nakba, or “Catastrophe,” as many Arab nations refer to Israel’s establishment in 1948.

Deek, the son of refugees from Jaffa, has lectured throughout Europe on his family’s history, and has called on others who left or were deported from Jaffa after 1948 to let go of the Nakba concept.

1st Time Ever: Palestinian students visit Auschwitz in organized visit

Visit to Nazi death camp is aimed to teach Israeli & Palestinian students about the other side’s suffering, in effort to see how empathy can facilitate reconciliation.

 

A group of 30 Palestinian students arrived at Auschwitz-Birkenau on Thursday, in what is believed to be the first organized visit by Palestinian students to a Nazi death camp.

The students are spending several days in Kraków and Oświęcim guided by two Jewish Holocaust survivors.

A news blackout on the trip was requested by the organizers.
