Palestinian FM ignores European Parliament queries on Israeli captives

Reminding the Palestinian Foreign Minister of the European Parliament’s resolution of 2018 that called for the safe return of all held Israelis, MEP Charlie Weimers’ questions were sidestepped, as the FM called on all EU member states to support the Palestinians against Trump’s “Peace to Prosperity” peace deal.

Palestinian Authority Foreign Minister Riyad al-Maliki declined to answer what the PA is doing to bring about the release of the four Israeli captives in Gaza, during remarks to the European Parliament’s Foreign Affairs Committee on Wednesday.

Israeli Minister to Palestinians: Make Demands AFTER Returning Hadar and Oron

Israel’s Welfare Minister tells his Palestinian counterpart at meeting under German mediation, “the parties can cooperate and increase awareness and guidance for the Palestinian workers,” but as a first step of cooperation, Minister Katz demanded the Palestinian side “return the bodies of Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul to Israel.”

Labor and Social Affairs Minister Chaim Katz met yesterday with his Palestinian Authority counterpart, PA Labor Minister Mamoun Abu-Shahla.

The meeting was held with mediation and participation of the German Ambassador to Israel, Dr. Clemens von Goetze.

During the meeting, Minister Katz told his PA counterpart, “Bring Hadar Goldin and Oron Shaul to Israel for burial.

Israeli High Court blocks repatriating body of a Palestinian killed by IDF

Israel’s High Court of Justice rules on filed petition from the parents of Lt. Hadar Goldin, who said it is “a moral imperative for the Israeli government to stop rewarding Hamas” with one sided return of the dead.

The High Court of Justice on Thursday granted a petition to stop the state from repatriating the body of a Palestinian killed in a security incident off the Gaza Strip’s coast in February.

The Israeli government announced on Monday that the IDF and border security are to ban all Hamas leaders &  family members from entering Israel for any kind of ‘humanitarian’ visit, including medical treatment in Israeli medical facilities.

The Israeli government announced Monday that it would no longer permit members of the Hamas terrorist group or their immediate family members in Gaza to enter Israel with entry permits issued out of humanitarian concerns, including to seek medical treatment in Israeli hospitals, as opposed to medical facilities in the Gaza Strip.

The announcement was made Monday after the government acknowledged to the Supreme Court that it had hitherto not fully implemented a security cabinet decision which included sanctions targeting Hamas leadership. Continue Reading »

Abd El-Rahman Shadid, who heads up Hamas’ bureau of prisoner affairs, declared in a written statement to Arab journalists that Israel had revoked the visitation rights of jailed terrorists affiliated with the Hamas terror group.
