Germany capitulates to anti-Semitism – AGAIN!

Following the German commissioner on anti-Semitism’s remark that he “cannot advise Jews to wear the kippah everywhere all the time in Germany,” Israeli President Rivlin says that’s a “capitulation to anti-Semitism” reflecting the danger to Jews being in Germany.

President Reuven Rivlin said Sunday that Germany’s warning to Jews on the dangers of wearing kippot was a “capitulation to anti-Semitism” and evidence Jews were unsafe there.

Israel’s own Gal Gadot named GQ magazine’s ‘Wonder Woman of the Year’

In Los Angeles, Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin, congratulated Gal Gadot on her  achievements, saying, “I am so proud and pleased to see you here, a true and beloved ambassador of the state of Israel.”

Israeli star Gal Gadot marked another achievement this week as she was selected to grace the cover of GQ magazine’s “Men of the Year: The New American Heroes” December issue.

Sharing the four-cover issue with three men, Gadot was named “Wonder Woman of the Year” by the magazine – a reference to the record-breaking film “Wonder Woman,” in which she starred.

Israel’s PM Netanyahu and President Rivlin feud over planned phone call with Erdogan

Following Erdoğan’s effort to reach out to Israel’s President Rivlin, the Prime Minister’s Office knowing of the Turkish leader’s position conveyed Netanyahu’s opposition to the planned conversation by objecting strenuously to any Turkish involvement in the current Temple Mount crisis.

Israel’s President Rivlin in India to further expand bilateral cooperation

 

With both nations seeking to augment cooperation with one another, Rivlin will meet with Indian President Mukherjee as well as PM Modi in an effort to promote projects in the fields of defense, agriculture and water technologies.

President Reuven Rivlin and his wife landed in India on Monday morning for a state visit at the invitation of Indian President Pranab Mukherjee as the two nations seek to advance their bilateral cooperation.

During the visit, President Rivlin will join President Mukherjee in opening an agro-tech conference in the city of Chandigarh, hold meetings with Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj, and visit several sites of cooperation and joint projects between the two countries. Abbas rejects European invitation to meet with Israeli President in Brussels

 

European Parliament President Martin Schulz, offered to mediate between Israel’s President Rivlin & PA Chairman Abbas since both are currently in Brussels, but Abbas refused to meet with Israel’s President Rivlin.

Palestinian Authority chairman Mahmoud Abbas refused to meet with Israeli President Reuven Rivlin while the two are in Brussels it was reported on Thursday. The proposed meeting with Rivlin was to be held at the invitation of President of the European Parliament Martin Schulz.

During a joint press conference held between Rivlin and Schulz on Wednesday at the European Parliament, Schultz was asked if he could be a mediator and conduct a meeting between Abbas and Rivlin.

President Uhuru Muigai Kenyatta, the son of Kenya’s founding Prime Minister and President Jomo Kenyatta, received a wet but warm welcome when he arrived at the official residence of President Reuven Rivlin on Tuesday morning.

Israel’s President Reuven Rivlin received the President of the Republic of India, Pranab Mukherjee, on the latter’s first state visit to Israel. In his greeting to the Indian leader, Rivlin mentioned the problems that both countries face in the security arena, saying: “We are working together to protect the security of both nations from terrorism and fundamentalism.”
