REPORT: Israeli jets strike ISIS targets in Sinai after rocket attack

The London-based Arab Al-Araby Al-Jadeed newspaper sites Sinai tribal factions claiming Israel Air Force jets struck targets in Egypt’s peninsula just hours after 2 rockets were fired at Southern Israel.

Israeli sorties bombed targets in the Sinai Peninsula Sunday evening in retaliation for two rockets launched at Israel from the Egyptian territory hours earlier, according to Tuesday report in the London-based newspaper Al-Araby Al-Jadeed.

Two rockets were fired at southern Israel from Egypt’s Sinai desert on Sunday evening, the Israeli army said.

The army and a spokesperson for the Eshkol Regional Council said that no injuries or damage was reported and that searches for projectiles are ongoing.

rockets are occasionally fired from Gaza toward Israel, launches from militants operating in Egypt have been more rare in recent years.

Sinai terrorists fire rocket at southern Israel, no injuries or damage reported

 

IDF & Israel Police are still searching for rocket debris to verify that it fell inside Israel, while examining the possibility it may have exploded in midair.
– No reports of injury or damage caused from the incident.

A rocket was launched from the Sinai Peninsula at Israel early Tuesday. There were no reports of injuries or damage.

Following rocket fire directed at communities in the Eshkol Regional Council Monday morning, Arab media outlet Al Jazeera reported that an unmanned aerial vehicle (UAV) attacked a house in southern Rafah, killing one person.

ISIS rocket fired from Sinai explodes in greenhouse in Southern Israel

 

REPORT: According to an ISIS linked news agency Amaq, the Islamic State took responsibility for the rocket that activated the ‘color-red’ alert sirens in the Eshkol region, and landed inside a greenhouse, only causing considerable damage. No injuries reported.

Report: ISIS Claims Israel Air Force Killed 5 Terrorists in Sinai Drone Arrack

 

According to Arabic media report, an Israeli drone dealt with ISIS terrorist that 2 weeks ago fired 4 missiles from the Sinai Desert into Israel’s southern city of Eilat.

An unmanned Israeli drone has allegedly bombed and killed five ISIS members in Egypt’s northern Sinai region, according to Arabic media reports Sunday.

According to outlets affiliated with “Ansar Bayt Al-Maqdis,” the Egyptian branch of the terror group, the four died when they “fell as martyrs to the Jewish enemy.”

Sirens were sounded on Wednesday night, shortly before 11:00 p.m., in the resort city of Eilat and in the Eilot Regional Council.

Residents in the area reported hearing explosions immediately after the sirens.

The IDF confirmed that three rockets were fired from Egypt towards Eilat and that the Iron Dome anti-missile system intercepted them.

Southern Israel Hit By Rocket from Egypt

Jihadists in Egypt’s Sinai Peninsula fire rocket that explodes in southern Israel, forcing residents into bomb shelters.

A rocket fired from Egypt exploded in southern Israel’s Gaza belt region Friday afternoon.

Residents of the area were forced into rocket shelters after sirens sounded at approximately 4:20 p.m.  No damage or injuries has been reported.

The IDF temporarily closed Route 12 as a “security precaution.”

Unlike other recent rocket attacks, which have broken the relative calm since the truce signed between Israel and terrorist groups in Gaza, this attack did not come from the Gaza Strip but from within Egyptian territory.

There were no reports of damage or injuries.

Rocket alert sirens went off on Friday evening in Eilat. Residents reported hearing at least two strong blasts at around 9:40 P.M. The municipality called on residents to go into sheltered areas.
