IDF busts large illegal weapons-making facility in Hebron basement

 

In addition to the 15 lathes, Israel’s security forces discovered 70 barrels full of assorted ammunition for M16’s, Carlo Gustav and other automatic weapons, found hidden in the basement walls.

Security forces seized the largest weapons manufacturing factory this year overnight between Sunday and Monday in Hebron, a senior IDF officer said Monday morning.

The facility, found in the basement of a family house, included 15 lathes used to produced weapons components.

After Attempt to Stab IDF Soldier, Palestinian Terrorist Shot Dead While Stabbing Arab

 

On Saturday, a female Palestinian terrorist attempted to stab an IDF infantryman in Hebron, who pushed her away, and was then immediately shot dead by his fellow soldiers as she was stabbing an unfortunate nearby Arab civilian.

Abbas’ PA jails brother & 17 yr-old son of Arab who sold 2 houses to Jews

 

Until the Arab who sold 2 Hevron homes to Jews turns himself in, Abbas’ PA police will not release brother & 17 yr-old son from jail.
• Jewish activists from Hebron call on Israel’s gov’t to intervene, provide protection for Arab seller and his family.

In the past several days the Palestinian Authority has arrested the brother and son of a Palestinian Arab man who sold two houses to Jews in Hevron, Arutz Sheva has learned.

When a contact approached the PA to appeal for the release of the two – one of whom is a 17-year-old boy – he was told they would not see the light of day until the seller hands himself in to PA police.

The new Israeli residents call on gov’t to strengthen Jewish community in the ancient city, & protect the Arabs (who sold the 2 structures) from pro-Palestinian activists, who turn in Arabs (that sell land to Jews) to Abbas’ Palestinian Authority (PA), which summarily tortures & then executes them.

Dozens of Jews took residency of two empty buildings in the ancient city of Hevron in Judea on Thursday afternoon, in an historical move in the city where Jews have long been limited by the government in expanding their community.

The structures are strategically located between the Avraham Avinu neighborhood, where the Jewish presence in the city was reestablished after the city was liberated from Jordanian occupation, and the Cave of Machpelah, where the Jewish patriarchs and matriarchs other than Rachel are buried. For the third time this month, Israeli forces raided a Hebron radio station overnight Saturday as part of an ongoing effort to clamp down on anti-Israeli incitement over the Palestinian airwaves.

The Israel Defense Forces, Shin Bet security agency and the Coordinator of Government Activities in the Territories (COGAT) shut down on Saturday night a radio station in Hebron which the IDF said was broadcasting content that incited Palestinian listeners to attack Israelis.

Hebron: Two Palestinians terrorists shot dead in separate knife-attacks

 

VIDEO: In the first terror attack, a Palestinian assailant was shot dead by Border Police after stabbing an IDF soldier in the head near a security checkpoint in the West Bank city of Hebron.

The West Bank town of Hebron was the scene of two separate knife attacks against security forces on Thursday morning, resulting in the shooting deaths both Palestinian assailants.

A Palestinian assailant stabbed and lightly wounded an IDF soldier in the head near a checkpoint in the West Bank city of Hebron on Thursday morning.

The terrorist was shot dead by alert border police officers before she was able to injure anyone.

The Arab terrorist approached the checkpoint close to the Cave of the Patriarchs and aroused the suspicion of border police stationed there.

Cleared for Publication: Hamas Terror-Cell in West Bank Arrested

REPORTED: The 11-man Palestinian group apprehended in Hebron had organized to carry out a wide range of terrorist attacks against Israeli civilians, including suicide bombings.

A joint Shin Bet-IDF operation last month led to the arrests of an 11-man Hamas cell in Hebron, which had been planning to carry out terror attacks inside Israel. The news of the operation was announced Monday by the Shin Bet after a gag order was lifted.

Shlomo Slonim ז”ל, Survivor of 1929 Hebron Massacre, died today at 86.

 

The 18-month-old child of the Hebron massacre was spared only because he was covered by the corpses of his parents.

Two large Palestinian cities in West Bank hit by rockets fired from Gaza

 

IDF confirms, 2 rockets hit Bethlehem and 1 rocket hits Hamas-controlled Hebron.

Two major Palestinian cities in the West Bank, Bethlehem and Hebron, were hit on Saturday evening from rockets fired from the Gaza Strip, the IDF said.

One rocket hit Hebron, a city controlled mostly by Hamas, and residents reported seeing a plume of smoke. Two additional rockets have reportedly hit Bethlehem and Gush Etzion.

The three teens were apparently kidnapped Thursday night and no group or organization has made any accepted claims of responsibility for the abduction.
