Palestinian court sentences another Gazan to death for ‘collaborating’ with Israel

Unnamed Palestinian defendant was found guilty in a Gaza court of “collaboration with the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people” and sentenced to death.

A Palestinian court in the Gaza Strip on Tuesday sentenced a man to death for “collaboration” with Israel.

A source in the Hamas govern

ment said that the man, whose name was not released, was found guilty of “collaboration with the Zionist occupation against the Palestinian people.”

The source did not give additional details.

The source claim that the defendant would be allowed to file an appeal against the verdict.

MK Shaked: High Time for Implementation of Death Penalty for Terrorists

 

MK Ayelet Shaked says that when the gov’t cannot be trusted in keeping murdering terrorists in prison, it’s time for implementing the death penalty for convicted terrorists.

MK Ayelet Shaked (Bayit Yehudi) on Monday called for implementing the death penalty for terrorists. She said the measure was necessary to ensure that terrorist murderers are “never released.”

At a protest at the Ministry of Defense in Tel Aviv against the release of 26 terrorists that the government confirmed earlier Monday would be set free, Shaked said that the only way to guarantee that the government did not use terrorists who killed Israelis and Jews as “negotiation cards,” as was currently happening, was to kill the terrorists. Death penalty could save lives

 

Op-d: There’s no reasonable explanation why Israel shouldn’t execute convicted terrorists who murdered innocent, defenseless civilians.

The death penalty will reduce the Arab’s motivation to carry out acts of terror with the ultimate goal of being released in future prisoner deals with Israel.

Ahead of the resumption of peace talks with the Palestinians Israel is being asked to release numerous murderers as a “gesture.” This is very difficult because we are talking about terrorists who murdered many civilians.
