A total of 105 rockets were fired into Israel between Tuesday and Wednesday, most by the Palestinian Islamic Jihad with some minor participation from Hamas, the IDF confirmed on Wednesday morning.
In response, Israel countered with approximately 16 airstrikes, mostly on Hamas positions, to hold the group responsible for what occurs in Gaza.

LEAKED: In exchange for their silence on the circumstances of the baby’s death, Islamic Jihad officials met with the victims’ family to secure them compensation and deem the baby a “martyr,” admitting, “There is no doubt that the baby’s death has nothing to do with the enemy’s [Israel’s] planes.”

The IDF struck several Hamas military targets in the northern Gaza Strip overnight, in response to the launching of incendiary airborne devices into Israel earlier Wednesday.
One firebomb launched on Wednesday caused a fire in a field in the Eshkol Regional Council.
Cluster of balloons attached to an incendiary device, launched from gaza, landed in the southern Israel.
After a projectile exploded in open territory in Israel’s Eshkol Regional Council on Saturday night, IAF fighter jets and attack helicopters hit Hamas naval facilities near Sudaniya & Khan Yunis, and two terror facilities in Zeytoun and Gaza City.
Officials from the Eshkol Regional Council, where residents reported hearing an explosion nearby, said the projectile fired from Gaza landed in an open field causing no injuries or damages.
Israeli forces on Wednesday night targeted Hamas positions in the Gaza Strip in response to a rocket fired from the enclave that landed in an open area in Israel’s south.
“A short while ago, one launch was identified from the Gaza Strip at Israeli territory. In response, an IDF tank targeted a Hamas military post in the southern Gaza Strip,” Israel’s Defense Forces (IDF) said in a statement.

Officials from the Eshkol Regional Council, where residents reported hearing an explosion nearby, said the projectile landed outside of residential areas and caused no injuries or damages.
Palestinian terrorist group, Islamic Jihad published pictures of a new Gaza-made heavy warhead missile that likely struck the Ashkelon building killing a Palestinian father of 6, the only fatality from the over 500 fired.
Islamic Jihad released pictures on Thursday of the new rocket with a heavy warhead, which they announced had been fired toward Ashkelon during the escalation of violence earlier this week.
The IDF has been concerned about heavy mortars which could carry 150-200 kilogram warheads, and which would inflict heavy damage on the Israeli home front.
