Israeli Arab charged with passing intel to Hezbollah

 

An Israeli organizer of pilgrimages to Mecca for the Haj says he never knew the men he met were operatives of the Shiite terror organization.

A 45-year-old resident of Shfaram, a predominantly Arab-populated city in northern Israel, was indicted Sunday at the Haifa Magistrate’s Court on a series of security-related charges including contact with a foreign agent, handover of potentially valuable information to the enemy and aiding an unlawful association.

According to the indictment, Zaher Omar Yusefin traveled to Saudi Arabia for the Haj when he allegedly met members of Hezbollah and Palestinian groups, helped them hold meetings with Israeli youth who also arrived at the country and gave information on IDF bases in northern Israel. Hamas Condemns Gazan to Death by Strangulation for Spying for Israel

A man from Gaza was sentenced to death by strangulation by Hamas after he was convicted of spying for “an enemy entity”.

Gaza’s Hamas terrorist rulers have sentenced a man to death for collaborating with Israel.

A statement on Sunday by Gaza’s Interior Ministry, translated by Arab affairs expert Dalit Halevi, had said that a military court had sentenced the man to death by strangulation. He was, according to the statement, convicted of providing information to “hostile elements” in Israel.

Badr al-Din Badr, head of the communications department of the Interior Ministry, said in the statement that the agent who was sentenced to death was arrested quite some time ago by security forces, and had failed to turn himself in as part of two previous campaigns that allowed agents to turn themselves into the government and be pardoned under certain conditions. Syria TV airs found ‘Israeli spy gear’

Syrian State television shows footage of fake rocks used to ‘camouflage’ surveillance cameras found on Syrian coast.

Regime Army Officer: Rebels and Zionists benefited from information gathered by espionage system.

The official Syrian Arab News Agency published photos on Thursday of what it said was Israeli espionage equipment recently found at an unspecified coastal location.

State television also broadcast pictures of the “Israeli spy devices” unearthed in Syria, in what it said was proof of Israel’s involvement in the armed revolt against President Bashar Assad .

The broadcaster showed footage of rocks used to “camouflage” surveillance cameras found on the Syrian coast, as well as recording and video devices to transmit pictures and audio “in real time” from “sensitive locations.” Continue Reading »
