Arab world forced into reality when Dr. Edy Cohen’s amazing offer causes a social media storm with his tweet proving there never was a country called “Palestine.”

The Palestinian narrative tells us that there was once a “Palestinian” people or nation living in a country called “Palestine” that was conquered and occupied by Israel.

This fiction is necessary because under international law, there can only be “occupation” if one nation takes land from another. EC President to arrive in Jerusalem to seal Israeli natural gas deal

European Commission President’s visit to Jerusalem on Monday is to advance an EC proposal to acquire Israeli natural-gas via Cairo, that would reduce European reliance on energy imports from Russia.

European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen is expected to arrive in Israel on Monday, as Jerusalem, Cairo and Brussels make strides toward a natural-gas export deal.

The European Union Embassy in Israel said von der Leyen was arriving “to advance relations between the EU and Israel, especially cooperation in the area of energy. The president will also discuss with Israeli government representatives the global reaction to the food crisis and the situation in the Middle East.” Continue Reading »

Floating gas extraction rig begins service in Israeli waters

Just in time to supply the EU, the newfound energy production should also incentivize competition in Israel’s markets, reducing energy prices and ultimately, reducing prices to everything else.

Energean’s floating gas production rig, Energean Power, has arrived in Israel, mooring near the Shark gas reservoir, about 80 km off the coast of Haifa.

Energean, which holds the gas production licenses from the “Shark(Karish)” and “Crocodile(Tanin)” reservoirs, announced the arrival on Saturday.

Energean will immediately begin anchoring and connecting the rig to the gas wells and piping networks and begin the initial run of various system

The company estimates that commissioning operations will last about 3-4 months until the first gas flow is achieved, which is expected in the third quarter of 2022. Continue Reading »

Israeli PM Bennett says “Light Shield” to cost ‘just $2 per missile interception’

Israel’s proven “Light Shield” system, already under production for service by early 2023, is a ‘game-changer’ according to PM Bennett, saying the laser-based air defense system will ‘bankrupt’ Israel’s enemies, Lebanon, Palestinians & Iran, when downing their rockets at $2 per interception.

A laser-based air defense system that Israel hopes to deploy starting next year to neutralize enemy rockets and drones will cost just $2 per interception, Prime Minister Naftali Bennett said on Wednesday.

Israel currently depends on defensive systems that launch interceptor missiles costing between tens of thousands and millions of dollars to track incoming projectiles.
