Gaza terrorists fired two rockets on Israel on Saturday evening, hitting communities in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council area to the immediate east of the Hamas-enclave.
One rocket hit the “Denber” plastic factory in Sderot’s industrial area directly, causing a large fire to break out.
No injuries were reported from the strike, although the fire continues to rage as firefighting units struggle to put the blaze out.
Ten firefighting units from Sderot, Be’er Sheva and Ashkelon are trying to control the fire and prevent it from spreading to other factories, reports Walla!.
The plastic factory is said to contain dangerous materials.
The second rocket, which also was fired towards Sderot, landed outside of the city limits.
