#BDSfail: Ignoring BDS harassment, musicians are heading to Israel

There’ll be something for everyone this summer as heavy rock icon Alice Cooper, progressive metal band Symphony X, the rap-rave duo Die Antwoord and rock band Real Estate have all recently announced concerts in Israel.

The first to visit the Holy Land is the New Jersey indie band Real Estate, who will perform at the Barby club in Tel Aviv on May 25. Tickets will cost NIS 159 during the presale and NIS 179 at the box office.

Next up will be the South African duo Die Antwoord, who will perform at the Live Park in Rishon Lezion on June 8. Tickets will cost NIS 240 during the presale and NIS 285 at the box office.

Theatrical heavy rock musician Alice Cooper will perform in Israel for the first time on June 16 at Bloomfield Stadium in Tel Aviv as part of his “Raise the Dead” world tour. General admission tickets will cost NIS 299, tickets the Golden Ring area will go for NIS 699 and those who wish to sit in the VIP area will have to fork out NIS 1,000. 

“After many years of trying, I’m excited to announce my first ever show in Israel – ever,” Cooper said in a special message. “You’re going to get all my hits, I’m going to bring my full show, including all my classic tricks. You never know what might happen! It will be an incredible show and a historic night. So don’t miss it!” 

Progressive metal band Symphony X will perform in Israel on August 10 at the Barby Club in Tel Aviv to promote their new album “Underworld.” Ticket cost NIS 229.
