China’s highest honor for foreign citizens goes to Israeli businessman

At a state ceremony hosted by Chinese PM Li Keqiang in Beijing, Israeli entrepreneur Amir Gal-Or, founder of the Infinity Group, was presented with China’s National Friendship Award for his work promoting Israel-China relations.

China has awarded Israeli businessman Amir Gal-Or with the country’s highest honor for foreign citizens for his work in promoting Israel-China relations and his contribution to the field of innovation.

Gal-Or was presented with the National Friendship Award at a state ceremony hosted by Prime Minister Li Keqiang in Beijing ahead of the 19th National Congress of the Communist Party of China, to be held Wednesday. In his acceptance speech, Gal-Or emphasized the need to promote bilateral ties between the two countries.

Gal-Or is the founder of the Infinity Group, an investment firm known for its “China Outbound” initiative, which supports Chinese companies interested in entering international markets.
