Gene Simmons reveals Kiss coming to Israel

Gene Simmons, front man for legendary heavy metal band KISS revealed plans on Facebook, drawing a flood of support.

 

Legendary heavy metal band Kiss is headed toward Israel, according to front man Gene Simmons, and the initial reaction to his Facebook post about the band’s plans is overwhelmingly positive.

“Leg 1 of the KISS Def Lep Tour is over and ended spectacularly in Houston with a record, sold out concert,” Simmons posted Monday. “But it ain’t over. We’re just beginning. Europe. South America. Japan. Australia. SE Asia. ISRAEL, and more.”

Within minutes Simmons follower Daniel Chesnut responded, “Glad you are going to ISRAEL!”

Supportive comments continued through the night.

“It’s important for you to go to Israel to perform. Your concet will be sooooo appreciatd,” wrote Carol Vineberg.

“Just name the date and I’m there,” wrote Shawn Eni, while Jay Jadofsky added, “Now I have another reason to make the heritage trip.”

Simmons was born Chaim Witz in Israel. Kiss has sold over 100 million albums worldwide since it was founded in the 1970s.
