Following the assassination of Hamas military chief Ahmed Al-Jabari, Palestinian factions in Gaza have threatened to “burn down Israeli towns.” Indeed, Israel’s south has been subjected to ceaseless rocket attacks in recent days – but a video allegedly documenting the launch of a Fajr-5 missile toward Tel Aviv turned out to be false.

Launched toward TA? – From Hamas clip

Hamas’ military wing is trying to prove, mainly to Gazans, that it possesses the capability to launch long-range rockets. It therefore released on Wednesday and Thursday video clips that allegedly shows such rockets being launched toward Tel Aviv.

The Izz al-Din al-Qassam Brigades have been trying to trip up the IDF‘s Iron Dome by targeting regions they believe the aerial defense system is not protecting.

In other attempts at psychological warfare , Hamas has been releasing false reports – in various media affiliated with the group – claiming that Israel has approached Hamas seeking an armistice.

Once again Hamas resorts to false bravado to cover up their inadequacies. Here in their use of propaganda, they falsely take credit for having shot down a jet of the Israel Air Force as well as having hit Tel Aviv.
