The forces fired warning shots at the suspect who was ultimately shot in the leg.

Last week a Palestinian terrorist was shot dead after trying to enter an IDF base in the West Bank by breaching the base’s fence with a tractor.

Younis Obaidi from Beit Hanina drove the tractor towards a base near Al-Ram, southeast of Ramallah, ramming the mechanical digger through a gate of the base.

Earlier in the month the IDF arrested two Palestinians in connection with an infiltration to the West Bank settlement of Psagot, and an attack that left a nine-year-old girl lightly wounded.
