No weapons were found on any of the suspects, the military said, and the three have been handed over for questioning.

Another Palestinian, also unarmed, was arrested by the IDF on Wednesday, crossing into Israel from Gaza’s north.

Before that, last week, the Israeli security forces thwarted a grenade attack, arresting two suspects who breached the security barrier on the border and entered Israel

The two lobbed a grenade at the troops that arrived on the scene, but the munition was inactive and did not go off.

Another [faulty] grenade was found on the suspects during the arrest.

There’s a good reason why the unarmed Gazans go to Israel’s border…
and not the Egyptian border to cross over illegally.

No one wants to actually come out an say it.

But, Col. Richard Kemp did tell the UN: “No army in the history of warfare has done more to avoid harming civilians in a combat zone than the Israel Defense Forces in Gaza.”
