NFL delegation to visit Israel next week for Israel Football League match


The delegation of 11 invited NFL football players will be touring around Israel later this month, but on February 18, will hold an open to the public, exhibition game with the Israel Football League.

A delegation of NFL football players will visit Israel later this month, a press release from the Ministry of Tourism revealed Sunday.

The delegation of 11 players will arrive in Israel on Monday, February 13, for a week-long visit during which they will visit Tel Aviv, Jerusalem and Haifa, as well as Christian holy sites in northern Israel, near the Dead Sea, and Masada.

As part of their visit, the players are expected to visit Rambam Hospital, Yad Vashem, and will meet with the Jewish community in Dimona.

The players will also hold an exhibition game on February 18, with the Israel Football League which will be open to the public.

The delegation of players includes:

  1. Martellus Bennett – Tight End with the New England Patriots
  2. Cliff Avril – Seattle Seahawks Defensive End and Super Bowl Campion
  3. Michael Bennett – Seattle Seahawks Defensive End and Super Bowl Campion
  4. Justin Forsett – Denver Broncos Running Back
  5. Delanie Walker – Tight End with the Tennessee Titans
  6. Mychal Kendricks – Linebacker for the Philadelphia Eagles
  7. Kenny Stills – Wide Receiver with the Miami Dolphins
  8. Cameron Jordan – Defensive End for the New Orleans Saints
  9. Calais Campbell – Arizona Cardinals Defensive End
  10. Carlos Hyde – Running Back for the San Francisco 49ers
  11. Dan Williams – Defensive Tackle for the Oakland Raiders

The visit was organized in a joint effort between the Ministry of Strategic Affairs and Public Relations and the Ministry of Tourism.

“The football players are a source of inspiration for the people of the United States,” Tourism Minister Yariv Levin said.

“I’m sure that after experiencing the unique sights and atmosphere of the country, the players will become loyal ambassadors of Israeli tourism,” he added
