Palestinian Authority (PA) envoy to the UN Riyad Mansour held a provocative press conference Wednesday, in which he compared the actions of Israeli security forces in Judea and Samaria to the suppression of the Warsaw Ghetto uprising by the Nazis in World War Two.
“Any comparison between the Nazi regime and the democratic State of Israel is despicable and must be condemned by the international community,” Israel’s ambassador to the UN, Danny Danon, responded Wednesday night.
“The Palestinians are continuing to lie to the world and turn to the international community with ridiculous claims instead of focusing their efforts on fighting terror and incitement,” he continued.

Earlier Wednesday, the UN Committee on the Exercise of the Inalienable Rights of Palestinian People held a briefing where Israel was accused of detaining innocent minors.
Danon responded to this as well, saying “When we arrested the sixteen year old who killed Dafna Meir, an innocent mother of six, we treated him like the terrorist that he is – a murderer who belongs in prison for life.
