Knesset party ‘Jewish Home’ Demands Renewed Construction in Response to Terror

Jewish Home leadership calls on PM Netanyahu to respond to terror wave by cancelling Ramadan “gestures” and renewing needed home construction in Judea & Samaria.

The Jewish Home party on Wednesday called on Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu to respond to the latest wave of terrorist attacks by renewing construction in Judea and Samaria and by cancelling some of the “gestures” given to Palestinian Arabs in honor of Ramadan.

The call was made after members of the faction held an urgent meeting following the recent attacks. During the meeting, party chairman Naftali Bennett informed the members of the party about his meeting with Netanyahu.

MKs Walk Out On EU President’s Anti-Israel Knesset Speech

EU Parliament chief Martin Schulz’s speech caused a walk-out as he repeated PA claims on water discrimination and the Gaza ‘blockade.’

A speech in Knesset Wednesday given by the head of the European Union Parliament caused outrage, and ultimately sparked a walk-out.

Several MKs expressed upset as EU parliament president Martin Schulz, who spoke in German, repeated as fact Palestinian Authority claims of Israeli discrimination regarding allocation of water in Judea and Samaria, and of a “blockade” on Gaza.

Schulz condemned Israeli “settlements” east of the 1949 armistice line as “an obstacle to peace,” and claimed, “The blockade of Gaza creates despair and extremism.” Continue Reading »
