Arab Family Request Son’s Plaque Removed From Israel’s Victims of Terror Memorial

At request from murdered Palestinian teen’s family, Mohammad Abu Khder’s name was removed from the Victims’ Memorial at Har Herzl, but they want to keep receiving the financial benefits.

Following a request from Mohammad Abu Khder’s family, the murdered teenager’s name has been removed from the Victims of Acts of Terror Memorial at Mount Herzl.

The Abu Khder family say that they do not consider themselves Israelis, and that they only found out about Mohammad’s inclusion from the media.

Mohammed Abu Khdeir may have been killed by La Familia, extreme right-wing club

 

Israeli police say 6 men have been arrested on suspicion of killing the Arab teenager, Mohammed Abu Khdeir, who was abducted last week for ‘nationalistic reasons’. They are not “Settlers” nor are they “Haredim” (ultra-Orthodox) as Palestinians hoped they would be.

Jerusalem – Israeli media speculated that the arrested men were already well known to the police and were linked to hooligans who support Beitar Jerusalem football club. Some Beitar fans are renowned for their hatred of Palestinians and have forced the club to reject the signing of Muslim players.
