In what could be another attempt to make the delegitimization of Israel more mainstream, a pro-Palestinian group at the University of California, Davis, is now offering a new ‘academic course’ on the anti-Israel boycott, divestment and sanctions movement.

Students for Justice in Palestine said the course would cover the meaning of anti-Israel boycotts and tactics for conducting them.

Hadas Buskila, the representative for the Jewish Agency for Israel at UC Davis, told Israel Hayom that the course, which does not currently count toward academic credit, is already gaining popularity.

“About 170 students and even two lecturers came to the first class. We are preparing to lead a strategic fight against this initiative, in cooperation with the pro-Israel group on campus,” Buskila said.

Dozens of young Israelis all over the U.S. are fighting back against anti-Israel initiatives on campuses as part of a mission led by Jewish Agency Chairman Natan Sharansky.

Sharansky — who views college campuses abroad as one of the major arenas where delegitimization of Israel is being promoted — has dramatically increased the number of emissaries and delegations on campuses to over 60, even personally choosing talented college students in Israel to join the effort.
