Last month, the Consulate General of Israel in Shanghai released a public service video to thank China for rescuing thousands of Jews during World War II.
In the clip, which was produced by China Radio International, Shanghai locals are seen holding signs in Hebrew saying “You’re welcome,” “Don’t mention it,” and “Happy to help.”
The original video produced by the Israeli consulate generated buzz on Chinese social media, prompting a response clip.
