The two were eliminated by the security forces, and fortunately were unable to inflict any wounds.

Police officers are searching the area and are looking into suspicions that the terrorists hid explosives nearby before the attack.

Earlier on Sunday evening, terrorists from the village of Jilazun opened fire at homes in the nearby town of Beit El in Binyamin. No one was hurt but a home sustained damage.

On Sunday afternoon, a female Arab terrorist was shot as she tried to stab a Border Police officer adjacent to Hevron’s Cave of Machpelah.

The terrorist approached a Border Police post adjacent to the holy site, and suddenly whipped out a knife and tried to stab one of the officers on duty.

The combat soldier responded by shoving the terrorist away and shooting her, critically wounding the would-be stabber.

  1. Francois says:

This kind of violence is happening too often. Terrorists have increased their use of firearms. If Palestinians are not attacking Jews, they are fighting among themselves. Leaders are inciting violence. Yet they will always blame their problems on someone else. No introspection there. No moral guides there either.

  2. Francois says:

The increased shootings by Palestinians also may mean that Iran is funding the weapons in the West Bank, thanks to the generosity of the Iran agreement. The IDF will not allow another Gaza.
