The Al-Aqsa Martyrs’ Brigades, the “terrorism arm” of the Fatah movement behind the government of Palestinian Authority (PA) Chairman Mahmoud Abbas, welcomed the shooting attack on the Be’er Sheva Central Bus Station Sunday, calling it a “heroic operation.”

“We call upon the Arab and Islamic nation to shoulder its responsibility towards Al-Aqsa Mosque,” the Brigades added in a statement, promising to “respond quickly” to “the enemy.”

“We urge all our people to back the popular struggle and [terror] outbreak to protect the holy places,” it added.

“The Zionist enemy knows very well that suicide bombings stood at the top of our priorities, and in the depths of Zion using our own bodies to blow up your soldiers and settlers,” it taunted.

Hamas also called for suicide bombings in Jerusalem, Judea, and Samaria on Monday, amid recent calls for escalation in terror against Israelis and Jews from multiple terror groups.

Both are the latest in a string of open incitement that has also been heard just as vocally from official voices in Fatah – including, most recently, Jibril Rajoub.

“The world doesn’t ask about a settler or soldier who is on occupied territories at the wrong place and the wrong time, no one asks about that,” Rajoub bragged on Palestinian Authority TV recently.
