BBC Reports How Israel Loves its Enemies

BBC, known for its bias against Israel, was astonished by the non-stop loving care provided to wounded Syrians, from first contact on the Israeli border, to their discharge from an Israeli hospital.

Israel has taken great pride in a recent BBC report regarding the Jewish state’s genuine care for its enemies. The BBC is often seen as biased against Israel, but the report in question had nothing but good things to say about Israel over its selfless care for victims of the ongoing civil war in Syria, a nation still officially at war with Israel.

BBC Middle East correspondent Kevin Connolly visited Ziv Hospital in the northern Israel town of Safed and brought back a story of Syrians under fire whose lives were literally saved by their worst enemy. Continue Reading »

Pentagon adopts Israel’s Elbit & Rockwell Collins’ helmet for F-35 jets

 

The helmet projects all vital information the F-35 pilots need to know onto the helmet’s visor.

Israel’s Elbit Systems and US defense firm Rockwell Collins welcomed on Saturday a decision by the Pentagon to go wit their jointly developed helmet mounted display system (HMDS) and include it with all future F-35 fighter jets.

In a statement, Kelly Ortberg, Chief Executive Officer and President of Rockwell Collins, said that the decision “validates the significant achievement” by the development team that produced the helmet, which she said “provides unprecedented situational awareness capabilities in support of the F-35 program.”

Anticipating INS Crocodile, More Submarine Crews Trained

 

Israel Navy prepares to receive its fourth submarine, the INS Tanin (Crocodile), motivates youth to join submarines.

The Israeli Navy is preparing to receive its fourth Dolphin-class submarine by training a larger number of combat submarine crewmen and marine commando forces. The IDF Website quoted a reliable Navy source as saying approximately 10% more submarine crewmen will be trained at first.

Approximately two weeks ago, Israel Navy Submarine Tanin (Crocodile) was launched in the city of Kiel, Germany and officially handed over to the Ministry of Defense and the Israeli Navy.

“The submarine is currently undergoing tests, which only a limited number of officers participate in,” an Israeli Navy official told the IDF website. Continue Reading »
