Delegation of 150 IDF search & rescue experts sent to Turkey 🇹🇷🇮🇱

Operation Olive Branch is underway as Israel’s 150 trained IDF recusers are in Turkey. This is Israel’s 31th humanitarian mission in the past 40 years.

150 IDF rescue personnel took off for Turkey to assist with the earthquake disaster response as part of Operation Olive Branch.

IDF Home Front Command foreign rescue chief Col. Golan Voch told a briefing of military reporters on Monday night, “We are ready to leave in the coming hours. We are a special small rescue staff of 150 specialists.”

IDF concludes years of humanitarian operations in Syria

With the Assad regime regaining control over the country, the IDF is ending its ‘Operation Good Neighbor’ after years of secretly supplying humanitarian aid, including food & medical supplies to untold thousands of Syrian civilians wounded during the 7 yr-old Syrian civil war.
–  IDF Spokesperson’s Office: ‘This was another expression of the values that guide the IDF’s actions’.

As Assad retakes Golan Heights, IDF closes Field Clinic for internal refugees

IDF closes it’s Golan Heights medical field clinic, the Mazor Ladach, that had provided treatment to some 6,800 displaced and deprived Syrians that had no access to medical help or medicines in their war-torn country.

A field clinic built by the IDF and providing care to injured Syrians has been closed, the IDF’s Spokesperson’s Unit announced on Friday.

The Mazor Ladach (whose name translates into Bandaging Those In Need) was a field clinic opened in August 2017 and located in an unused military post in the southern Golan Heights on the Syrian border.

40 ill Syrian mothers & children enter Israel for medical treatment

Unlike ‘Operation Good Neighbor’ where injured Syrians have been treated in Israel, the IDF begins ‘Operation Doctor’s Appointment’ with more than 40 sick mothers & children with chronic health problems cross the Golan Heights in pre-dawn hours for a day’s treatment in an Israeli hospital.
– Syrian patient, ‘We were afraid in the beginning to come because we regarded Israelis as Zionists and enemies. It’s the opposite.’

Keeping a doctor’s appointment in Israel, Syrian children and their mothers stepped across a tense Golan Heights border in the dead of night under the watchful gaze of Israeli soldiers.

IDF renders life-saving treatment to 6 Syrians before transport to Israeli hospitals

Four Syrian children, 2 adults were given initial life-saving treatment by IDF soldiers in the field before being transferred to a hospital.
– IDF repeats: ‘Israel will not open borders to fleeing Syrians but emergency medical assistance and humanitarian aid will continue.’

The IDF transferred six wounded Syrians, including four young children, to Israeli hospitals for treatment on Saturday, just one day after the military announced it would not allow entry to Syrians fleeing the regime offensive yet will continue providing humanitarian aid.

IDF trucks in tons of humanitarian aid in overnight operation to Syria

Last night Israel quietly delivered 13 tons of food, 15 tons of baby food, 3 pallets of medical equipment & medicines, 30 tons of clothes and 300 tents across its northern border as 120,000 Syrian refugees flee their homes in Syria’s Deraa area, where Assad’s army is bombarding rebels, killing dozens of civilians in the process.

IDF: “The State of Israel and its army care for Palestinian life more than Hamas”

IDF soldiers hastened to treat and save the life of a wounded man who stumbled into Israel after being shot in Gaza by Hamas.

A Palestinian man from the Gaza Strip stumbled across the security fence into Israeli territory on Wednesday after having been shot by Hamas forces.

Soldiers with the Israel Defense Forces (IDF), who are so often smeared as blood-thirsty racists, did not hesitate to provide the man with emergency medical treatment.

IDF Maj.-Gen. Yoav Mordechai, head of COGAT (Coordinator for Government Activities in the Territories), took the opportunity to set the record straight, posting to Facebook in Arabic the following message to the people of Gaza:

Nothing simpler: a Palestinian passed the security fence from the Gaza Strip into Israel today after Hamas forces shot him.

“Operation Good Neighbor”: IDF’s effort to provide humanitarian aid to the Syrians

A Thanksgiving Story

IDF’s “Operation Good Neighbor,” first revealed this past July, was initiated as an ad-hoc solution to treat Syrians who came to Israel’s border fence seeking immediate medical attention from IDF soldiers, then expanded into an organized governmental mission in June 2016, as Syria’s humanitarian needs grew.

IDF Druze medic greets wounded Syrian civilians in Arabic, ‘we’re here to help you’

Druze Israeli Staff Sgt. ‘A’ from southern Israel, who’s currently serving as a medic in the Golan Heights says he sees “the fear in the eyes” of the wounded Syrians as they cross the border to Israel, so he comforts them, saying in Arabic, “Hi, my medical team and I are here to help you.”

A Druze staff sergeant from the southernmost tip of Israel is saving wounded civilians from Syria as well as wounded and injured IDF comrades.

Syrian missives express gratitude for Israel’s humanitarianism

Expressing their gratitude, Syrian civil war victims treated by Israeli field hospitals on the Golan Heights pen appreciation letters for the IDF’s medical care, saying it has strengthened their yearning for peace, undermined indoctrination of Israel as an enemy.

Israeli Doctor honored by Buenos Aires Parliament for treating Syrian war victims

Dr. Alejandro Roisentul, who moved to Israel 28 years ago, is the head of the Maxillofacial Surgery Unit of Ziv Medical Center, in Safed, Israel, where “more than 1,500 Syrian have been treated for free.”

BUENOS AIRES — An Argentinean-Israeli doctor was honored at the Buenos Aires city parliament as an “outstanding personality in the human rights field” for assisting victims of the Syrian civil war.

Israel admits to sending tons of food, clothing, fuel and aid to Syrian refugees

The IDF revealed that it has been providing humanitarian aid, including half a million liters of diesel fuel and dozens of generators to about 200,000 Syrian citizens living in 80 villages and towns in the Syrian Golan Heights that is controlled by ‘friendly’ rebel groups, not affiliated with ISIS.

Russia invites IDF to participate in International Army Games competition

 

IDF delegations in the fields of military medicine and logistics will be sent to Russia to compete against the military forces of 27 other countries in the annual International Army Games.

For the first time, the IDF has been invited to participate in the International Army Games against 27 other countries, including the Syrian Army.In the past three years, the Russians have been conducting an annual “military Olympics” in which various armies from the world compete in professional fields such as armor, paratroopers, military police, medicine, and more.
