Gaza rocket falls short and lands in Palestinian territory

 

Early morning Siren sounds in Ashkelon area as world leaders and famous guests are sleeping in Jerusalem after Peres’ birthday party.

 

Luckily, and rightfully so, terrorist’s rocket misses it’s mark, landing in Gaza.

A rocket fired by Palestinian terrorists in Gaza early Wednesday morning landed in Palestinian territory. A siren was heard in Ashkelon and the surrounding area at around 5:40 am.

On Monday the Color Red alert sounded across the Ashkelon Beach Regional Council after a rocket launching from Gaza was identified. However, no rocket landing sites were located.

Wednesday’s rocket fire on Israel took place as world leaders and celebrities are gathered in Jerusalem for President Shimon Peres’ 90th birthday celebrations.

Palestinians also fired rockets at Israel’s southern region during US President Barack Obama’s visit to the Jewish state some three months ago.
