The IDF prevented potential kidnappings and murders by Palestinian Authority terrorists this week in a raid on a wanted terrorist’s home in Samaria, where the Palestinian Authority always is reported to be controlling terror.

The terrorist still is at large.

Soldiers confiscated a shotgun, a pistol, and various parts of weapons, ammunition and other military equipment at the site. They also found numerous uniforms and bullet-proof vests, which terrorists could use to disguise themselves as soldiers to kidnap civilians and soldiers.

The large hoard was found in a village near Shechem, one of the areas where the Palestinian Authority has total authority to control terror as part of its commitment under the now defunct Oslo Accords.

The United States trained the Palestinian Authority policemen – that is what they are called because the Accords’ doublespeak prohibit a PA “army.”

Washington has repeatedly said how Ramallah has defeated terror, and U.S. Secretary of State John Kerry has bragged that not even one Israeli was murdered in 2012 by Palestinian Authority terrorists.

So after the soldiers confiscated the weapons, why did the IDF have to state, “The IDF will continue to operate day and night in order to keep the citizens of Israel safe”?
