Weapon warehouse in residential home in Gaza explodes, 1 dead, 14 injured

Palestinians accuse Hamas of storing weapons in a residential home located in Gaza City’s Al-Zawiya market, saying that the explosion which killed 1 & injured 14 on Thursday happened in a secret Hamas ammunition warehouse.

Palestinian factions and human rights organizations have called on Hamas and other Palestinian terror groups to stop storing weapons in residential areas following another explosion, which killed one person and injured 14 others on Thursday.

They also demanded a thorough investigation into the explosion in order to hold those responsible accountable.

LEBANON! Hezbollah is storing weapons only 25 meters from a school!

The IDF warns that a possible explosion of Hezbollah’s missile warehouse would be at least half the size of last year’s catastrophic explosion in Beirut that devastated the capital and killed at least 211 people.

The Israeli military on Wednesday shared intelligence of a possible target belonging to Hezbollah in the southern Lebanese village of Kfar Ebba in the Nabatieh Governorate.

According to the IDF, the terror group is storing rockets, military-grade explosives and other weapons in a residential building just 25m from a school with 300 students.

The explosion of the warehouse would be half the size of the Beirut explosion of last year that killed at least 211 people and badly damaged a large part of the city. Continue Reading »

Foreign Report: Israeli jets explode Iranian, Hezbollah weapons depots in Syria

According to a Syrian rebel report, Israeli jets entered the Deraa district, which recently displaced tens of thousands of civilians due to the regime’s bombardments, and fired rockets at ammunition warehouses belonging to pro-Assad militias, resulting in massive explosions heard throughout the district.

Large explosions were heard in the Deraa district of south Syria on Tuesday in an area in which ammunition warehouses belonging to the Assad regime and pro-Assad militias are located, reported the Syrian Observatory for Human Rights.

Israel Border Police bust makeshift arms factory, seize weapons, arrest Palestinian

A male Palestinian was arrested during an early morning police raid, with over a dozen weapons, hundreds of ammunition rounds, IDF uniforms, and related paramilitary equipment seized.

Border Police raided a makeshift arms factory in the West Bank village of Beit Arush early Thursday morning, arresting one man and seizing a cache of illegal rifles, improvised automatic weapons, IDF uniforms, binoculars and ammunition.

IDF busts large illegal weapons-making facility in Hebron basement

 

In addition to the 15 lathes, Israel’s security forces discovered 70 barrels full of assorted ammunition for M16’s, Carlo Gustav and other automatic weapons, found hidden in the basement walls.

 

Security forces seized the largest weapons manufacturing factory this year overnight between Sunday and Monday in Hebron, a senior IDF officer said Monday morning.

The facility, found in the basement of a family house, included 15 lathes used to produced weapons components.

IDF closes down 16 illegal Palestinian weapons factories

Terror groups underwent a serious setback with the closing of 16 underground weapons manufacturing workshops, and IDF’s seizure of 200 weapons, ammunition & grenades that Palestinian terrorists would have used in future attacks on Israelis.

The Israeli army has closed 16 Arab weapons factories in Judea and Samaria in a major crackdown an IDF officer said on Tuesday.

“As part of our war against the production of homemade weapons, we have seized 200 weapons, ammunition and grenades and closed 16 illegal workshops since early 2016,” Colonel Roman Gofman said.

In a conference call with reporters, he said the campaign also targeted Palestinian shops selling firecrackers, which can be used to make grenades and improvised explosive devices.

The location of the weapons stash was revealed during a Shin Bet interrogation of a Palestinian weapons manufacturer.
