Nazi-inspired beauty pageant seeks the most anti-Semitic of the Baltic states

Nazi fanaticism is thriving in the Baltic States. Last week Russian President Vladimir Putin warned that a trend of “open neo-Nazism” is becoming “commonplace” in  the Baltic states as well as Latvia & Ukraine.

A Nazi-inspired beauty pageant dubbed “Miss Hitler 2014” is calling for attractive women to participate in the contest held on the Russian equivalent to Facebook .

Irina Nagrebetskaya is from Kiev, Ukraine. When she’s not working, she likes to listen to goth metal and post Adolf Hitler quotes to her social media accounts. She wrote this caption to her photo: “Don’t forget! Adolf is his name, he’s our eternal race, he has been given eternal life.” Her picture is edging out Shkredova’s by one like, at 38.- Photo: VKONTAKTE‏

At least 14 females from Russian and Eastern Europe have entered the contest that celebrates the glorification of Nazi Germany and the fascist totalitarian government ruled by Adolf Hitler that was responsible for the Holocaust and the genocide of nearly six million Jews.

The winner of the contest is determined by the highest number of “likes” from members of a page on VKontakte that claims more than 7,000 Hitler-revering followers.

Jewelry adorned with Nazi symbolism is offered as the prize for the contest, officially-titled “Miss Ostland 2014,” named in reference to the Nazi-occupied portion of northeastern Europe where more than a million Jews were killed.

The requirements of the competition were reportedly listed as the following:

  1. Be a woman.
  2. Be a Nazi.
  3. Be a woman Nazi.
  4. Be a woman who hates Jews.
  5. Be a member of the “Adolf Hitler” VKontakte group.
