An Arab Muslim mother from northern Israel who is aspiring to a life in politics called out fellow Arab women on Tuesday for failing to differentiate between the Jews and Arabs with whom they are in conflict.

Apologies offered by the British weekly The Sunday Times for an anti-Semitic cartoon published on International Holocaust Remembrance Day address only one, albeit major, aspect of this issue. The paper stated that publishing the drawing “was a mistake and crossed the line.” It admitted that Gerald Scarfe’s caricature had reflected “historical iconography that is persecutory or anti-Semitic.” The drawing showed Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu building a wall using what appeared to be the blood of Palestinians as cement. Sunday Times finally apologizes for anti-Netanyahu cartoon

UK’s weekly the last to issue apology after publishing cartoon showing PM building wall with Palestinians’ bodies on Int’l Holocaust Remembrance Day. ‘It crossed a line, we would never set out to offend the Jewish people,’ paper wrote.

The Sunday Times issued an apology Sunday for a cartoon it published last week showing Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu building a wall with Palestinian blood and bodies.

Media baron Rupert Murdoch has apologized for a Sunday Times cartoon depicting Israeli leader Benjamin Netanyahu building a wall using blood-red mortar, an image Jewish leaders said was reminiscent of anti-Semitic propaganda.
