Conservative Muslims, unable to accept the modern mosque design in Tehran, blame the Jews for the building lacking the traditional domes and minarets, accusing authorities of “treason” for approving the design.
By Israel Today Staff
The Jewish people were surprised to find themselves entangled in a heated debate over mosque design in Iran.
A massive new mosque being constructed in Tehran sports a sleek, minimalist design that architects say evokes the “austerity of early Islam.”
But more conservative Muslim voices have slammed the departure from the more traditional domes and minarets characteristic of mosques across the Middle East.
Some called it the result of “secular and Jewish influence.”
The New Arab reported that one local news website, Mashregh, went so far as to state that the new mosque looks like a ‘Jewish yarmulke’ (kippa in Hebrew, skullcap in English), and that the architects should be tried for “treason” for aiding a Zionist conspiracy. Continue Reading »
American envoy says Abbas knew the US was “not taking a position on any final status issues, including the specific boundaries of the Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem,” and yet he purposely “overreacted” and made “ugly, needlessly provocative and antisemitic,” calls for violence. – Amb. Friedman, ‘US Jews of all streams owe Trump enormous debt of gratitude for Jerusalem move.’
Some of the Palestinian rhetoric in response to US President Donald Trump’s recognition of Jerusalem has been “ugly, needlessly provocative and antisemitic,” US Ambassador to Israel David Friedman told The Jerusalem Post.
Friedman, a leading force behind Trump’s decision three weeks ago to recognize Jerusalem and move the US embassy there from Tel Aviv, characterized the Palestinian reaction as “largely emotional,” saying they “unfortunately overreacted” because Trump made clear that the US was “not taking a position on any final status issues, including the specific boundaries of the Israeli sovereignty in Jerusalem.”
Palestinians spin announcement to rally Arab states against the US and Israel
Once anti-Zionists feel defeated in speaking with Zionists, or they feel they’re not winning the topic they started, because they’ve refused to accept historical facts, they begin abusing the other speaker & begin using foul language against and about the Jewish people.
– Let’s Defame the Jewish State of Israel

During the many years since I started talking with my fellow Muslims about their baseless arguments against the state of Israel, I could see them arguing without knowledge. I could tell they know nothing about Israel. They had a few topics to discuss, “illegal settlements, Gaza being blockaded, unlawful occupation and Israeli operations against Hamas, the Holy Land belongs to Palestinians and Palestinians are indigenous habitants of the land.” Most are not willing to find accurate facts behind these topics. A brawl broke out after Hamas supporter Zoabi accused Israel of ‘becoming a fascist state’ as her Birmingham audience accused the Palestinian MK of inciting violence.
A scuffle broke out between audience members after firebrand Arab Israeli lawmaker Hanin Zoabi (Joint List) said Israel was “becoming a fascist state” during a speech in Birmingham on Tuesday.
Zoabi delivered a controversial speech, comparing Israel to Nazi Germany, which sparked a brawl between hecklers from the audience who accused her of incitement.
“We must admit that Israel is becoming a fascist – began to have fascist laws. And a lot of critical Israelis describe Israel as, and compare Israel – and what I say here, and you record it, we say in Israel, we say it inside the Knesset – it is suitable to compare, logical to compare Israel, and this is a public opinion, with Germany in the 30s,” Zoabi said. PLO executive committee member Hanan Ashrawi is a proliferator that Jesus was Palestinian, that Israel is the “ancestral” land of the Palestinians – not the Jewish People, and that the 800,000 Jews who were exiled from Muslim countries after Israel beat the Arab armies in 1948, all ‘left their ancestral homes voluntarily.’
According to PLO Executive Committee member Hanan Ashrawi, Israel holds the Palestinian people captive, denying its historical rights and the imperative to get real about peace. Her weekly diatribe happened to coincide with Jordanian King Abdullah’s first visit to Ramallah in five years, which demonstrated that the rest of the Arab world could not care less about history. Feeling emboldened following UNESCO’s recent resolutions ignoring Jewish historical ties or rights to the Western Wall and the Cave of the Patriarchs, the Palestinian leadership calls on the int’l community to reject any Israeli candidacy for any international role considering, in their statement, that “Israel was established on the ruins of the Palestinian people.”

The Palestinian Authority (PA) government, headed by Rami Hamdallah, on Tuesday warned against Israel’s “escalating policy” following UNESCO’s recent resolutions recognizing the Muslim right to the Temple Mount and the Cave of the Patriarchs in Hevron, while ignoring the Jewish connection to those sites. Denouncing Germany’s ‘Fake News’ in the 2nd most read article on the popular website, Bild’s online editor-in-chief warned that by “routinely interchanging perpetrator and victim” the German media attacks on Israel reveal its withdrawal from historical responsibility.

A new report published by the US State Department criticizing Israel and largely ignoring the Palestinian Authority’s financial support for terrorists sparked a bitter backlash, with some characterizing the document as “anti-Semitic”.
The State Department’s annual Country Reports on Terrorism for 2016, published last Wednesday, laid the blame for violence against Israelis at the feet of the Jewish state, while praising the Palestinian Authority for rarely making “explicit calls for violence against Israelis”. Continue Reading »
EXPOSED??? According to a Palestinian Authority broadcast, Israel has become a global threat to Arabs and Muslims in their use of sex as a weapon to destroy their spirit, while the CIA is controlling global moods through hallucinogens.
According to Palestinian Authority TV host Imad Hamato, Israel is waging war against the Muslim world via “sex mania.”
In a broadcast translated by the Palestinian Media Watch, Hamato, who was appointed by Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas as dean of Gaza’s Al-Azhar institutes in October 2016, can be seen denouncing Israel’s threats to Muslim modesty protocols.
“Our conflict today between us and Israel is the conflict between spirit and body,” Hamato says with a green screen of Temple Mount behind him. Continue Reading »
In a bizarre contradiction to last year’s infamous UNESCO resolution stripping Jewish rights to Jerusalem, Irina Bokova, the director-general of very same UN organization publicly acknowledged, “Jerusalem is the capital of King David, where Solomon built the Temple.”

UNESCO, the director-general of UNESCO, which last year passed a motion denying the Jewish connection to Jerusalem, shocked many last week when she publicly affirmed the Jews’ historic connection to the Holy City.

Speaking to Israel Radio on Friday, the new U.N. leader, Antonio Guterres acknowledged that “the Temple the Romans destroyed in Jerusalem was a Jewish temple,” and went on to say that he has no intention of forcing a peace process on Israel and the Palestinians.
Palestinian officials criticized United Nations Secretary-General Antonio Guterres on Sunday for saying that a Jewish temple existed atop the Temple Mount.

“[Gueterres] ignored UNESCO’s decision that considered the Al-Aksa Mosque of pure Islamic heritage,” Adnan al-Husseini, Palestinian Authority Jerusalem Affairs minister told Xinhua, a Chinese news outlet, clarifying that the UN secretary-general “violated all legal, diplomatic and humanitarian customs and overstepped his role as secretary general…and must issue an apology to the Palestinian people.”
Speaking to Israel Radio on Friday, Guterres reportedly said that it is “completely clear that the Temple that the Romans destroyed in Jerusalem was a Jewish temple.”
The new UN chief added that there is “no doubt” that Jerusalem is holy to all three of the major monotheistic religions. Continue Reading »

The Palestinians are trying to threaten Israel’s hold on Rachel’s Tomb by throwing pipe bombs & stones, as well as by fabricating a new history for the site by interjecting the identity of Bilal Ibn Rabah. And again, just as was done with Jerusalem, UNESCO is on their team solidifying their falsehoods into a reality.

As the argument over the muezzin bill in Israel heats up, security forces in the Bethlehem region and the outskirts of the Gilo neighborhood in Jerusalem seem bothered by one muezzin in particular: Bilal Ibn Rabah, an Ethiopian-Abyssinian who is recognized in Islamic tradition as a slave who served in the home of the Prophet Muhammad as the first muezzin to ever beckon believers for prayer five times a day. Although Karega’s blatantly anti-Semitic social media posts included one accusing Israel and “Rothschild-led bankers” of owning “Your news. The media. Your oil. And your government,” and another suggesting that Israel was behind the attack on the Charlie Hebdo office in Paris, and responsibility for downing a Malaysian airliner over Ukraine in 2014, Karega appeared to blame the college governors & administration of persecuting her because she is black.
An Oberlin College assistant professor whose anti-Semitic social media posts outraged many alumni and faculty earlier this year has been dismissed.
The Ohio college’s board of trustees announced Tuesday that it had voted to dismiss Joy Karega “for failing to meet the academic standards that Oberlin requires of its faculty and failing to demonstrate intellectual honesty.” The dismissal was effective as of Tuesday. Continue Reading »
