At times Cape Verde has abstained or was purposely absent on Israel-related issues, but has generally voted against Israel at the UN. Now, according to the the west coast of Africa nation, it will no longer vote against Israel at the United Nations.

The island state of Cape Verde off the west coast of Africa announced on Wednesday it will no longer vote against Israel at the United Nations, the Prime Minister’s Office said Wednesday night.
According to a statement put out by the Prime Minister’s Office, Cape Verde’s President Jorge Carlos Fonseca directed the country’s UN delegation in New York to no longer vote against Israel at the world body. Continue Reading »
