Advocacy law group warns US cybersecurity firm to remove Hamas websites

American cybersecurity Cloudflare, which deleted the neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer off its servers, is in no rush to block inciting websites linked to the Palestinian terrorist group, Hamas.
• Advocacy charwoman warns: “This is not a matter of free speech. We are urging the company to comply with U.S. law.”

Cloudflare, an American cybersecurity company that has blocked the neo-Nazi website Daily Stormer following the July 12 Charlottesville riot, refuses to block websites affiliated with Hamas, an Israeli advocacy group said Thursday.

Speaking with The Washington Times, Shurat Hadin Israeli Law Center Chairwoman Nitsana Darshan-Leitner questioned why the cybersecurity company was quick to oust a white supremacist website but still hosts accounts linked to the Gaza Strip-based terrorist group. Continue Reading »
