UK newspaper reports Israel agrees ‘4+1’, a joint effort with ‘regional powers’ to counter Iran’s “fundamentalist crescent” of Iran, Iraq, Syria & Hezbollah.

Israel has been working toward a cooperative agreement in compliance with Turkey and three Arab states to implement an allied system of detection technologies to defend against Iranian ballistic projectiles, British newspaper The Sunday Times reported.

The initiative, termed “4+1”, reportedly proposes joint efforts to be taken by Israel along with Turkey, Saudi Arabia, the United Arab Emirates and Jordan to share access to radar and anti-missile technologies, according to the Times.

Report: Iranians fall for ‘Pepsi in the moon’ hoax

Thousands of Iranians fall prey to Internet rumors that Pepsi will shoot laser beams at sky to display logo on the moon, French news network reports

Thousands of Iranians looked up at the sky in the hopes of seeing the Pepsi logo appear on the moon on Tuesday night, France 24 reported Friday.

According to the report, rumors that have gone viral on Iranian websites and social networks in recent days claimed that Pepsi Co. was going to shoot powerful lasers beams at the moon to display the brand’s logo on its surface.

Jordan Denies Iraqi Oil Reaching Israel

Jordan is fending off accusations that Iraqi oil is reaching Israel.

Jordanian Media and Communications Minister Rakan al-Majali denied at a news conference with Iraqi journalists Wednesday in Amman that the black gold is being smuggled to the Jewish State.

The official Jordan News Agency (Petra) quoted al-Majali as saying the claims were unfounded, and aimed at harming Jordan’s claims with Iraq.

He added that the accusations were ‘tantamount to a conspiracy aimed at intimidating’ the Hashemite Kingdom.

“How can oil be smuggled to Israel, while Jordan needs every drop,” he pointed out.

Iraq militia stones youths to death for ’emo’ style

Within one month, at least 14 youths stoned to death for sporting the Western style.

BAGHDAD – At least 14 youths have been stoned to death in Baghdad in the past three weeks in what appears to be a campaign by Shi’ite militants against youths wearing Western-style “emo” clothes and haircuts, security and hospital sources say.

Militants in Shi’ite neighborhoods where the stonings have taken place circulated lists on Saturday naming more youths targeted to be killed if they do not change the way they dress.
