Vaccines Israel gave the Palestinians were given to Jordan royalty

Instead of the meant ‘at-risk’ Palestinian population receiving intended doses, PA autocrat Mahmoud Abbas transferred  200 vaccine doses to Jordan and the PA “health ministry” reported 12,000 vaccine doses were allocated to PLO members and to Abbas’ security personnel.

The Palestinian Authority (PA) acknowledged on Tuesday that it has given COVID-19 vaccines to senior PA officials and to the Jordanian royal family, Kan News reported.

Kan News reported several weeks ago that the PA had transferred 200 vaccines to Jordan, but PA officials denied the report. On Tuesday, the PA “health ministry” confirmed that 200 vaccines were transferred to the office of Jordanian King Abdullah II. Continue Reading »

Jordanian lawmaker asks Jordanians to martyr themselves against gas deal

Prior to the electrical equipment of Israel-Jordan gas-line being torched yesterday in protest to the upcoming import of natural gas from Israel, Jordanian parliamentarian Tariq Khoury demanded, “Every free man in Jordan must sacrifice himself and his children to blow up a gas line that passes through Jordanian territory, we are all martyrs of the project.”

Two electrical transformers servicing a gas transfer station intended to transport gas from the Leviathan natural gas field in Israel into Jordan were torched by unidentified people in Irbid in northern Jordan on Saturday.

The Jordanian government yesterday (Wednesday) strongly condemned the presence of Jews in the Al-Aqsa Mosque compound and Jewish activities there. It referred to Jerusalem Day events, during which 15 Jews who had bowed in prayer down were detained, while others sang Hatikvah.

The United States on Tuesday filed charges against Ahlam Aref Ahmad Al-Tamimi, a Jordanian woman who played a role in a 2001 suicide bombing at a Jerusalem Pizza restaurant.

Fifteen people were killed in the attack, including two U.S. citizens, and 122 wounded, including another four Americans.

Al-Tamimi acted as an accomplice, scouting the location of the Sbarro pizza chain in the heart of Jerusalem prior to the bombing and escorting the bomber to the site. Continue Reading »

After entering Israel, the man began to throw rocks at passing cars, causing an Israeli driver named Rotem Aharoni to drive off the road. Twenty-three-year-old Rotem Aharoni from Had Nes was driving to work when an Arab man in a grey kaftan threw a large rock at her car.

Rotem slammed on the breaks and the car struck a safety rail. The Arab then ran towards her, opened the door and tried to force her out of the vehicle, all the while yelling in Arabic.

Jordan assigned to ‘inspect Israel’s violations’ at Temple Mount for ICC case

Arab Media: Jordan Refused Hamas Leader Khaled Mashaal’s Request to Visit Kingdom

 

Although allowed to enter Jordan in 2012, King Abdullah expelled the Hamas leadership from Jordan in 1999, and according to Emirati news site 24, the King has again declared Khaled Mashaal “unwelcome” in Jordan.

 

Jordanian authorities denied a request by Hamas leader Khaled Mashaal to visit the kingdom, the Emirati news site 24 reported on Tuesday.

Mashaal was told by the authorities that he is “unwelcome” in Jordan, according to sources in Amman.

Jordanians angry Palestinian Authority rejected installing CCTV on Temple Mount

Jordanians on Tuesday criticized the Palestinian Authority for rejecting the idea of installing security cameras at the Temple Mount.

The Jordanians noted that the idea of installing the cameras was aimed at “protecting the al Aksa Mosque by documenting what’s happening at the site.”

Arabs attack Jerusalem police on Temple Mount for 3rd straight day

Rioting broke out Tuesday for a third straight day at the Temple Mount as police came to secure the contested Jerusalem holy site for Jewish visitors on the second day of Rosh Hashana.

When Israeli security forces entered the plaza of the site dozens of  masked Palestinian youth met them with a barrage of stones, blocks, and firecrackers, police said.

King Abdullah II of Jordan threatens Israel on Jerusalem ‘provocation’

Jordan’s king warned Israel on Monday that any further “provocation” in Jerusalem where Israeli police have clashed with Muslims at Al-Aqsa mosque would damage ties between the two countries.
