PA President Abbas: Palestinian Arabs who kill Jews should not be punished

Palestinian President repeats his demand that Israel cannot punish Arabs who kill Jews. Israel must release all jailed terrorists for the sake of peace.

Unbelievably, European & US leaders support this position.

Abbas was hosting a two-day “Freedom and Dignity” conference in Ramallah to mark the 11th anniversary of Israel’s arrest of Marwan Barghouti, a senior member of Abbas’ own Fatah party who was convicted of directing numerous terrorist attacks against Israelis.

Polls show that a vast majority of Palestinians want to elect Barghouti as their president, if he is every freed by Israel.

Jews Still Planning to Sue Jimmy Carter over Anti-Israel Book

Asserting that no individual has done more than former President Jimmy Carter to defame Israel and to challenge its right to exist, a group of readers filed a class action suit against Carter and the Simon & Schuster publishing company, back in February, 2011, alleging that Carter’s book, “Palestine: Peace Not Apartheid,” contains numerous false and knowingly misleading statements intended to promote the author’s agenda of anti-Israel propaganda and to deceive the reading public instead of presenting accurate information as advertised. Yeshiva U Alumni say Carter’s Entrance will be Blocked

Alumni of Cardozo School of Law at the Yeshiva University say they will physically prevent the ex-president from receiving the peace prize.

Enraged alumni of Yeshiva University’s Cardozo School of Law have threatened to physically block Jimmy Carter from entering the school, where he is due to receive a peace award on Wednesday.

Daniel Rubin, 62, told the Jewish Daily Forward that about a dozen former alumni are planning an act of civil disobedience to prevent Carter from picking up the International Advocate for Peace Award, given annually by Cardozo’s Journal of Conflict Resolution. Continue Reading »

Pro-Israel activists have launched a campaign to prevent a Jewish university from presenting anti-Israel former President Jimmy Carter with the school’s “International Advocate for Peace Award.”

Jimmy CarterYeshiva University’s Benjamin N. Cardozo School of Law is scheduled to present Carter with the award on Wednesday, leading former alumni and pro-Israel advocates to galvanize in opposition to what they say is the former president’s anti-Israel views.

Apparently The New York Times Whitewashes Everyone Except Israel

The New York Times’ silence in regard to Morsi’s disgraceful behavior merely serves to underscore the fact that the NYT is simply incapable of fair or balanced reporting.

Last week, Jimmy Carter accompanied by ex-has-been and irrelevant leftist politicians from Norway and Ireland — the so-called “Elders” — visited Israel.  Quite predictably, Carter, whose anti-Israel vitriol knows no bounds, condemned Israel for the lack of progress with the Palestinians and blamed “Israeli settlements” for the impasse.  Never mind the incessant rocket attacks from Gaza, the daily incitement coming across Palestinian airwaves, and the Palestinian Authority’s irrational refusal to negotiate with Israel without preconditions — in the myopic world of Jimmy Carter and his radical leftist (and openly anti-Semitic) friends, Arab Muslims can do no wrong, and Israel is to blame for the world’s evils.

Jimmy Carter to visit Egypt & Israel

The Elders, a group of past heads of state that advocates for peace announced their visit Thursday.

 

Former United States President Jimmy Carter will travel to Egypt and Israel next week, where he will advocate for a two-state solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict.
