Former Connecticut Senator and 2000 Democratic Vice Presidential nominee Joseph Lieberman praised President Donald Trump’s announcement Friday that he would not recertify Iranian compliance with the 2015 Joint Comprehensive Plan of Action (JCPOA), commonly known as the Iran nuclear deal.
The president is required by law to report to Congress every 90 days on Iran’s compliance – or lack thereof – with the terms of the JCPOA. Continue Reading »
