Knesset calls on Design & Graphics students to design new emblem for Israel’s parliament. Public will take part in choosing winning logo online.

The Knesset management will hold a contest for the design of a new Knesset logo that will replace its current one – the State’s emblem.
The Knesset has appointed a public committee on the matter, which among other issues, also dealt with the decision of who should design the parliament’s logo. Knesset Speaker Yuli Edelstein ultimately decided to allow any design or graphics student to submit an emblem.
Lastly, a committee that will be composed of a line of professionals headed by Knesset Director Ronen Plot will compile a shortlist of 10 pieces, that will be presented to the public online. Continue Reading »
