New Home Construction in Emanuel for 1st Time in 30 Years

For the 1st time in 3 decades, new homes are being constructed in the Samaria community of Emanuel.

For the first time in three decades, new homes have been built in the Samaria community of Emanuel, and on Thursday, a festive ceremony dedicating a new construction project will be held in the town. Attending the event will be MKs Uri Ariel (Bayit Yehudi) and Meir Porush (UTJ).

Actually, said Emanuel Mayor Rabbi Ezra Garshi, several large projects are set for Emanuel. The first project to go up will include 517 housing units (permits have already been issued for construction, he said), and a second project will include 102 houses. Continue Reading »

Police: Arabs Behind Attack Previously Blamed on Jews

Samaria residents slammed leftist groups after Police investigation proved Arabs were responsible for destruction then shifted blame on area Jews.

Members of the Samaria Residents Council slammed leftist groups Thursday after police said that what had been thought to be a “price tag” action by Jewish residents of Esh Kodesh in the Binyamin region turned out to be a dispute between Arabs. It was the Arabs who set fire to six vehicles in the village of Korsa near Shechem last week, deliberately blaming the Jews for their activities.

Among the groups with egg on their face in the wake of the police findings is the “Rabbis for Human Rights” organization, which in the wake of the claims by Arabs that they had been attacked by Jews, issued a harsh statement condemning Esh Kodesh residents for their “hateful” activities. New Israeli Road Sign Warns Drivers of Rock & Firebomb Attacks

Drivers on the roads in Samaria will soon come across a new road sign that they’re unlikely to see on roads in other parts of Israel…or anywhere else in the world!

Drivers through roads in Samaria are likely to come across a new road sign, one that they are unlikely to see on roads in other parts of Israel. The sign, designed by the Samaria Residents Council, warns drivers that they are in danger of being attacked by rocks and firebombs.
