Arab Squatters Move Into Ancient Jewish Archaeological Site

Arab squatters cause irreparable damage as they illegally turn an Iron Age Jewish settlement, on a Samaria archeological site, into their private residence.

Near Hermesh in northern Samaria lies a registered archeological site called ‘Khirbet Parsin’, which preserves the biblical name ‘Peresh’ (descendants of Menashe) and the Talmudic name ‘Kfar Parshai’.

The remains of a large Iron Age settlement were discovered at this site, including a mikveh (ritual bath), burial caves and complex underground systems from the Second Temple period, as well as impressive buildings from the Ottoman period. 2 Palestinian terrorists shot during failed stabbing attack of IDF soldiers

Two Palestinians rushed patrolling IDF soldiers with weapons in hand, trying to stab them using what the IDF described as “sharp agricultural instruments.”
– IDF reports both terrorists evacuated to a hospital in Ramallah with gunshot wounds, while none of the attacked soldiers were injured.

Two Palestinian terrorists were shot Monday while trying to carry out a stabbing attack against a group of soldiers operating near a central Samaria settlement, the military said.

According to available details, a group of eight Palestinians approached soldiers who were on patrol near Amichai, a settlement northeast of Ramallah. Two Palestinians then stormed the troops and tried to stab using what the IDF described as “sharp agricultural instruments.” Continue Reading »

Attempted stabbing attack by an Arab Palestinian terrorist was swiftly foiled near Highway 5 in Samaria when alert IDF soldiers opened fire to neutralize the knife yielding terrorist running towards them.

An Arab terrorist attempted to carry out a stabbing attack near Highway 5 in Samaria Monday afternoon, but was eliminated by Israeli security forces before he could reach his target.

According to eyewitnesses, the incident occurred near Gitti Avisar junction on Highway 5 outside the Israeli town of Barkan when the terrorist lunged at IDF soldiers while brandishing a knife.

Palestinian terrorist neutralized during stabbing attack in Samaria

 

IDF solider unhurt as the Palestinian terrorist’s thrust of his screwdriver failed to penetrate the soldier’s protective vest.

An Arab terrorist attacked IDF soldiers in Samaria Wednesday morning, attempting to stab them with a screwdriver.

The attacker was shot and neutralized during the incident, which took place between Tapuah Junction and the Arab village of Hawara, near the Jewish community of Yitzhar.

The wounded terrorist was treated on the scene by emergency responders.

While the terrorist managed to stab one soldier at the scene, the screwdriver failed to penetrate the soldier’s protective vest.

IDF relinquishes 1.7 sq kilometers of land in Samaria to Palestinians

Land requisitioned by the IDF almost 40 years ago but no longer being used, was returned to its “original owners” to avoid a potentially lengthy court case.

Israeli NGO Yesh Din said that the army had taken the decision to surrender control of the land after it petitioned the High Court late last year.

The decision, which spares the army a potentially lengthy court case, will see more than 1.7 square kilometers of what used to be valuable farmland restored to its “original owners”, Yesh Din said.

The land, which had been seized for military purposes in the 1970s and 1980s, had ceased to be used by the army. Continue Reading »

Attempted stabbing in Samaria by Arab; no one hurt thanks to IDF shooting terrorist dead

 

An Arab attempting to butcher Jews at the Hatmar intersection in Samaria was unsuccessful, as the stabber was quickly neutralized by alert IDF soldiers in the area.

An Arab attempted a stabbing attack in the Hatmar Junction (also known as the Territorial Brigade junction – ed.) in Samaria on Monday afternoon, close to 3:00 pm.

The stabber was eliminated by IDF soldiers at the scene before he was able to harm anyone.

The incident is one of a series of attacks Monday. Just minutes after, an Israeli was murdered in a stabbing at a gas station along Highway 443north of Jerusalem, which also left another person wounded.

A terrorist was killed Saturday evening by a force of IDF paratroopers, after he and a second terrorist were identified throwing firebombs at vehicles on the Gilad road in Samaria, next to Yitzhar.

The second terrorist escaped and was caught a short while later. He was slightly wounded.

The Head of the Samaria Regional Council, Gershon Mesika, said Saturday evening: “I wish to congratulate the soldiers who reacted properly vis-a-vis the terrorist this evening. Unfortunately, we already know what terrible results the rock and firebomb terror can have.”

VIDEO: Palestinian PM Screams ‘Foul’ After Car Stopped by Israel Police for Speeding

Ma’an News Agency reports Palestinian PM Rami Hamdallah’s convoyed was stopped again while traveling to Ramallah, this time according to Israel Police, the convoy was speeding.

 

Israel Police on Sunday stopped the convoy of the Palestinian prime minister in the West Bank, Ma’an news agency reported.

The convoy of Rami Hamdallah was traveling between Tulkarem and Ramallah, when it was stopped for about half an hour by police, according to the report.

Police said the convoy was held up because it was speeding near the settlement of Eli, but an official from Hamdallah’s office denied that to Ma’an.

Arab Terrorist Shot Trying to Infiltrate into Shomron Town

IDF soldiers open fire on 2 Palestinian terrorists trying to infiltrate into the Shomron town of Kochav Ya’akov.

IDF soldiers were able to foil an attempt by two terrorists to infiltrate into the Shomron (Samaria) town of Kochav Ya’akov, northeast of Jerusalem, on Monday evening.

The soldiers caught the two as they were tampering with the fence surrounding the town and opened fire towards them. One of the terrorists was wounded and taken for treatment in a Ramallah hospital. His condition is unknown.

‘Quiet’ Arrest Turns Into Shootout in Jenin

One terrorist shot & hurt as terrorists & rock-throwers clash with soldiers in northern Samaria.

Terrorists launched an attack on an IDF unit in northern Samaria early on Friday morning, IDF sources have revealed.

Attackers opened fire on IDF troops near the Palestinian Authority-controlled city of Jenin. At the same time, other Arab attackers hurled rocks at the soldiers.

Soldiers were in the area to arrest a PA Arab man suspected of terror-related crimes.

Soldiers returned fire, hitting one attacker and wounding him. The wounded man was taken to a local PA hospital for treatment.

An Israeli bus driver on Tuesday reported there were shots fired at his vehicle while he was traveling in the West Bank, south of Nablus. Security forces founded a bullet lodged in the vehicle. IDF forces are scouring the territory for the perpetrators of the attack.
