Palestinian envoy threatens to make US ‘miserable’ if Trump moves embassy to Jerusalem

Russian news quoted the Palestinian UN ambassador as saying moving US Embassy to Jerusalem would be in violation of int’l law and U.N. resolutions, and should Trump follow through, the Palestinian Authority would “unleash all diplomatic weapons” and “make life miserable for the White House.”

The Palestinian Authority on Sunday vowed to “unleash all diplomatic weapons” at its disposal to prevent President-elect Donald Trump’s administration from meeting its campaign promise to move the U.S. Embassy in Israel from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem.

U.S. State Dept reforms visa renewal procedure for Israelis

 

The Israel-America Chamber of Commerce member Tsvi Kan-Tor says, “Waiving the requirement to go to the embassy makes things significantly easier for Israelis seeking visas, who had been forced to wait long periods to make an appointment.”

Only Ariel students excluded from Obama’s speech

US President Barack Obama has not landed in Israel yet, but he has already managed to upset certain Knesset members. The reason: The American Embassy invited student representatives from all universities to the president’s speech at Jerusalem’s International Convention Center, save those from the Ariel University.

Habayit Hayehudi already responded on Tuesday night, calling it discrimination and demanding clarifications from the embassy regarding the exclusion of students from this institution, which received official recognition as a university just two months ago. Continue Reading »
