In the past year, there has been a drastic 82% decline in the financial aid provided to the Palestinian Authority (PA) by Arab countries. The financial support now stands at only NIS 132 million ($37M), compared to NIS 716 million ($200M) last year, according to data in the PA’s budget reports.

REPORT: Having convened at the UN to present a resolution condemning Trump’s decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, diplomats from the Arab countries adjourned, without agreeing to take any action.

Arab countries met at the United Nations on Monday to discuss US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, AFP reported.
However, diplomats said no decision was taken on tabling a UN resolution condemning the US move.
