Biden’s US vote at UN reflects return to Obama’s anti-Israel doctrine

In a dramatic shift from the Trump administration, Biden decides to not vote against a biased UN resolution demanding “compensation” for descendants of Palestinian refugees, as well as their unlimited “right of return.”

The United States voted last week to abstain on a resolution concerning the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees (UNRWA), the UN’s agency that handles Palestinian refugees – part of several resolutions put forth in the UN General Assembly concerning the Israeli-Palestinian conflict that largely targeted Israel for its treatment of Palestinians.

Arabs choose not to take action against US Golan move at UN

REPORT: Having convened at the UN to present a resolution condemning Trump’s decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, diplomats from the Arab countries adjourned, without agreeing to take any action.

Arab countries met at the United Nations on Monday to discuss US President Donald Trump’s decision to recognize Israel’s sovereignty over the Golan Heights, AFP reported.

However, diplomats said no decision was taken on tabling a UN resolution condemning the US move.

UNESCO: Cave of the Patriarchs, Rachel’s Tomb are in ‘Occupied Palestine’

Executive Board of UNESCO passed resolutions declaring that both, the Tomb of the Patriarchs in Hebron and Rachel’s Tomb in Bethlehem, are “an integral part of the Occupied Palestinian territory.”

US church group passes another anti-Israel resolution

 

Ignoring the fact that Israel does not torture arrested children, nonetheless the United Church of Christ passes a resolution against Israel claiming it does torture Arab children, and calling for end of US military assistance, but ignores the fact that ‘the children’ are extremely dangerous, having perpetrated some of the most violent, deadly crimes in Israel.

The United Church of Christ overwhelmingly approved a resolution condemning Israel for its treatment of Palestinian Arab children living in Judea, Samaria, eastern Jerusalem and Gaza.

UN agency accuses Israel of extrajudicial executions omitting they were armed terrorists

 

A United Nations group has charged Israel in their report of using “force that has at times been deemed excessive” against the Palestinians, “which may have amounted to extrajudicial executions.”

The UN Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC) accused Israel in a report Wednesday of using “force that has at times been deemed excessive” against the Palestinians, “which may have amounted to extrajudicial executions.”According to ECOSOC, from April 1, 2016 to March 31, 2017, Israeli security forces killed 63 Palestinians, including 19 children, and wounded 2,276 others, including 562 children.

Wisconsin students pass BDS resolution blaming Israel for violence against African-Americans

 

During the debate over a divestment resolution, University of Wisconsin anti-Israel activists called the Jewish community “oppressors”, saying Jewish students oppose divestment against Israel because it threatens their “white privilege.”

The student government of the University of Wisconsin-Madison unanimously passed on Wednesday a divestment resolution targeting companies operating in many countries that included an amendment specifically about Israel.

An amendment added to the one-page resolution, which Jewish students said brought the resolution more in line with the proposal that failed a month ago, blames Israel for police violence against African-Americans, citing an exchange program in which senior American police officers travel to Israel to learn about counterterrorism, the pro-Israel organization StandWithUS said in a statement. According to leaked transcripts to an Egyptian daily newspaper, US Secretary of State John Kerry and Susan Rice met with Palestinians Saeb Erkat and Majed Faraj in Washington, for the purpose of drafting the upcoming Egyptian proposal to the UN Security Council.
