MK Amir Ohana (Likud), chairman of the Knesset’s gun rights lobby, praised an elderly homeowner who shot and killed an Arab burglar who broke into his house late Monday night.

The homeowner, an 82-year old Holocaust survivor from Moshav Beit Yitzhak in central Israel, opened fire at two burglars who had broken into his house, killing one and wounding the other. Continue Reading »

Man opens fire on 2 burglars in his home, Palestinian thief dead, his partner seriously wounded

After hearing noises in his home Monday evening, an unnamed man from Moshav Beit Yitzhak discovers two Palestinian men holding burglary tools in their hands, opens fire killing one, and seriously hurting the second.

A Palestinian burglar was killed and another seriously wounded Monday night when a man opened fire on them as they attempted to break into his home in Moshav Beit Yitzhak in the Sharon region.

Upon arriving at the scene, Magen David Adom paramedics were forced to pronounce the death of one of the burglars, a man in his 30s, and evacuated the second wounded man, also in his 30s, to a nearby hospital. Continue Reading »

Livestock theft foiled, 150 sheep recovered, Arab thieves elude capture

Last night, a family that owns a flock of sheep in the Maale Shlomo neighborhood of Kochav Hashachar in the Binyamin region was surprised to discover that Arabs had broken into the family property and stolen at least 150 sheep.

Members of “Hashomer Yosh” (“Guardians of Judea and Samaria”) acted quickly at the scene, notified security personnel and, together, they located the stolen flock after about 35 minutes.

The group told Arutz Sheva that the chase began immediately after 3 men who had stolen the sheep were identified by cameras. Continue Reading »
