Pro-Israel advocacy group wins court case against BDS at University of Ontario

 

#BDSfail: Invoking a passed BDS motion, Ontario university’s student association banned a pro-Israel North American advocacy organization from participating in an event last year. The Ontario Human Rights Tribunal found the student association guilty of discrimination.

A pro-Israel North American advocacy organization announced on Thursday that it had won a legal victory after an Ontario university’s student association banned it from participating in an event last year, due to its connection with Israel.

The event in question was Social Justice Week, held at University of Ontario Institute of Technology. Robert Walker, national director of Hasbara Fellowships Canada, had responded to an open invitation for community groups to participate. Continue Reading »

Tourists & Jews Forced to Wait Hours to Ascend Temple Mount

Jews & Christians were again blatantly discriminated against this week as hundreds were forced to wait for hours to visit the Temple Mount.

Jews and tourists who attempted to ascend the Temple Mount this week were subjected to long lines and waits of hours to enter the Temple compound, while Muslims were able to enter the area unhindered. That, said Yehuda Glick of the Liba Project for Jewish Freedom at the Temple Mount, is a clear case of racism and discrimination. “It is hard to believe that the state does not already recognize the Temple Mount as a Muslim site, with anyone who is a non-Muslim an unwelcome annoyance,” Glick said. Tunisia port dropped by Norwegian Cruise Lines over anti-Israeli discrimination

Kevin Sheehan, Norwegian Cruise Line’s CEO said, “We want to send a strong message to Tunisia and ports around the world that we will not tolerate such random acts of discrimination,”

Norwegian Cruise Lines dropped Tunisia from its itineraries after the country refused to allow Israeli citizens to disembark in the Port of Tunis.

About 20 Israelis were quietly told before disembarking from the Norwegian Jade over the weekend that they were not welcome per the Tunisian government.

The cruise line’s decision to drop Tunisia was first reported by Cruise Critic, an online cruise information site.
