Einat Schlein became Israel’s first woman to serve as ambassador to an Arab country when she presented her credentials to Jordan’s King Abdullah in a ceremony in Amman on Monday, Israel’s Foreign Ministry said.
Israel’s new envoy to Jordan is an expert in Middle East affairs and previously headed the international division of the Foreign Ministry’s diplomatic research center.
Schlien, who headed the international division of the Foreign Ministry’s diplomatic research center, will replace Daniel Nevo in Jordan as Israel’s ambassador. Continue Reading »
